Debuting “Significance of Salvage” at Beverly Hills Art Show

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be debuting my newest body of work, Significance of Salvage, at this year’s Beverly Hills Art Show happening this weekend!

📍 Location: Beverly Gardens Park
📅 Dates: May 17 & 18
🕒 Time: 10 AM – 6 PM
🎨 Booth: 160

This is one of my favorite events of the year — a vibrant outdoor art show with over 200 artists showcasing their work, and I’m honored to be chosen to be among them!

♻️ About the Collection: Significance of Salvage

This new collection of mixed media collages is a deeply personal exploration of transformation, healing, and reconnection with nature — themes I’ve been working with for the past few months since the LA fires.

Each piece is constructed with recycled materials like cardboard, paper scraps, and thrifted magazine cuttings — materials society often deems disposable. By salvaging these remnants, I’m asking: What stories still live in the things we throw away?

Layered with acrylics, spray paints, and handmade textures, the artworks represent a kind of visual composting — the old breaking down to nourish the new.

🌿 Why Salvage Matters

The word salvage carries weight. In our consumer culture, we’re taught to discard and replace. This collection pushes against that impulse by honoring what’s been worn, weathered, and deemed unusable.

I believe that salvage is sacred. It holds memory, history, and potential. In these works, you’ll see symbols of growth, decay, rebirth, and joy — visual echoes of the natural cycle and a reflection of the subconscious patterns we can choose to break and reimagine.

👀 What to Expect at the Show

Come by my booth to:

  • View the full Significance of Salvage collection in person

  • See textures and layers up close (they always feel more alive in real life!)

  • Chat about the creative process

  • Purchase originals or limited edition prints (yes, I’ll have those available!)

If you’re in the LA area, I’d love for you to stop by and experience the collection firsthand. Bring a friend, wander the park, and get inspired by the incredible creative energy of the show.
